Redensity 2 is the only licenced product for treatment in this area and has some stunning and immediate results which improve over time. Containing lidocaine, light-reflecting particles, amino acids, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, this non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid helps to boost collagen with a visible difference in both lightening and filling the area.  Although you will see results instantly, with all fillers it does take a 2-week period for the treatment to settle. Sometimes a second treatment may be needed but this will need to be done 6-8 weeks later.

Consultation

Prior to any treatment being performed, a consultation is needed to discuss treatment aims and suitability. A medical history and consent form will need to be filled out. Photographs will be taken before and after the procedure.

How the procedure is performed?

A small puncture hole is made in the skin around the cheek area so a micro cannula can be inserted into the deep dermis. This micro cannula can be manipulated into the tear trough region to distribute the product.

Microcannulas offer multiple advantages over the hypodermic needle technique which include less bruising and minimal pain. One injection site is required in most treatment cases which therefore means a greater reduction in side effects.

How long does it last?

Depending on your lifestyle and metabolic rate, this product can last up to 6-9 months. This treatment is ideal to combine with skin boosters (2 weeks later) to give overall hydration and refresh the face.
